Dr Kaushik Guha is a consultant cardiologist with nearly two decades of clinical experience, specialising in:

Dr Guha graduated with honours in medicine and surgery from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 2004. He completed postgraduate training at multiple leading hospitals, including St George’s Hospital, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, Harefield Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital.
Appointed as a substantive consultant cardiologist at Portsmouth University Hospitals in 2016, he plays a key role as one of the heart failure leads within one of the UK’s largest cardiovascular services. His clinical work includes complex device implantation, management of cardiomyopathies, and specialist care for cardiac sarcoidosis and amyloidosis, where he is the local service lead.
Awarded his doctoral thesis by Imperial College London in 2014, Dr Guha has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to the Oxford Textbook of Medicine, and been the primary investigator for multiple heart failure studies, including the CARDIOMEMS COAST_OUS study.
