Binny graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the School of Physiotherapy, University of Manchester, in 2002. Her early career included cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation for chronic lung conditions and specialist oncology rehabilitation at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she worked extensively with patients post breast surgery, reconstruction, gynaecological surgery, sarcoma treatment, and palliative care.
For the past decade, she has specialised in community-based respiratory physiotherapy, working with patients on LTOT, AMBOT, and chronic lung disease rehabilitation. Since 2020, she has been at the forefront of managing long COVID patients, integrating evidence-based strategies to improve respiratory function and quality of life.
Awarded his doctoral thesis by Imperial College London in 2014, Dr Guha has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to the Oxford Textbook of Medicine, and been the primary investigator for multiple heart failure studies, including the CARDIOMEMS COAST_OUS study.Binny has contributed to multiple research studies presented at the British Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society conferences, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests include tele-pulmonary rehabilitation, patient acceptability of video-based rehabilitation, and the impact of frailty on rehabilitation outcomes.
