Dr Olumide Adeotoye

MB MMedSci FRCP

Dr Olumide Adeotoye is an experienced Consultant Physician and Geriatrician who works in an acute trust in Northeast London and in the community.
His areas of interest include comprehensive geriatric assessment, managing frailty, and the management of falls in the elderly.
He also has experience in medical education and medical leadership, having held management positions in medical education and medical leadership.

He did his primary medical training in Nigeria at the college of medicine, university of Ibadan; completed his postgraduate training in the West Midlands gaining specialist accreditation in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine. During his postgraduate training he studied for and gained a master’s degree in medical science from Keele University.

He has been a consultant physician and geriatrician for over 24 years.
He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London. He is also a member of the British Geriatrics Society.

Currently he is undertaking a part-time master’s degree in medical ethics and law at Keele University.
